blu/-where did the pictures go? -on the walls.

i wanted to display some of the works of blu, since they attract me in many ways. First of all, the ability to transmit the artistic work on the walls is amazing. and he’s doing it actually in global terms, from milano to buenos aires. it’s very possible, when you turn a corner in whatsoever city of the world, to encounter with his work on the wall of an old building. the distorted figures of blu are easily integrable with the gigantic compositions. i find the way of the line quite simple and loose which gives me the enjoyable comfort of street art(on which i will be talking a lot in the future).

here are some examples from the sketch book of blu – illustrative/nice and disturbing.

and some of the wall paintings i’ve been talking about.

i have to also mention about the wall-painted animation by blu which is quite a challenge regarding the amount of work and the demand for novelty. i think it’s impressive how efficiently he deals with the space. and the stories are really interesting especially when they’re animated-which gives the viewer the opportunity to observe all the transformations in a more effective and complete way. obviously blu is obsessed by walls not only outdoors but also indoors.
